He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kenner Elkins, Sr. and Vida Elkins (Long); and his sister Anna Ruth Francis. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Elkins; his children, Jamie Hanson (Donald) of Fredericksburg, VA and Darryl Elkins (Penny) of Mullens; his grandchildren, Hannah, Olivia, Julia Hanson, Madelynn and Michael Elkins; his brothers, Tommy Elkins (Phyllis) of Heber Springs and Bill Elkins (Judy) of Houston, Texas; and his friends, Wayne Compton, Gary Runion, Lacy Hight, Jimmy Turner, Benny Ratliff, Junior Clark, Mike Wikel and Mike Huff. He is also survived by friends, bragging about his grandchildren, and spending time with friends.

Those wishing to attend the services, CDC guidelines will be followed, social distancing is required, and masks are mandatory.
