He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawson Martin and Lillie Martin (Foley); his wife Mary Frances Martin (Hickman); his son Danny Martin; his daughter-in-law Janice Martin; and his siblings, Fred, Cecil, Basil Martin, Judy Jewel, Dovie, Ivy, Pansy Martin, Gatha Woolfolk, Frances Atkinson and Virginia Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Thorn of Mullens and Gary Martin (Donna) of Mullens; and his grandchildren, Danny Martin, Jr. (Jenny Ann), Christy Jones, Kyle Martin (Kayla), Nicholas Martin (Kameron), Michael Seaton (Christy) and Jimmy Seaton. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
