He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Mattingly of Illinois and Tammy Johnson of Winston Salem, NC; and his siblings, Betty O'Neal, Joseph O'Neal, Troy O'Neal and Richard O'Neal. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
