James Patterson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Patterson of Mount Hope, West Virginia, who passed away on May 1, 2021 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James H. Patterson Sr. Affectionately; his brothers, Toney, Ronald and Donald; and his grandparents, James H. Patterson Sr., Catherine L. Gray and Marie Patterson.
He is survived by: his mother Thelma Green Patterson; his siblings, Michael Green of Mount Hope, Kenneth W. Patterson (Iris) of Gulfport, MS, Daniel Patterson of Petersburg, VA, Patricia Hicks of Mount Hope, Velma Allen (Thomas) of Mount Hope, Darlene Brown (Tom) of Mount Hope and Brenda Gray of Oak Hill; and his close friend Michael Payne. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Friends, while wearing gloves and masks and observing social distancing, may view one hour prior to the service.
