We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Frederick Rickman Jr. of Mount Hope, West Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Rickman and Annabelle Rickman-Walker; his wife Judy Ann Rickman; his stepfather Herb Walker; his siblings, Georgie Whitt, Perry Rickman, Sam Rickman, Michael Rickman, Dovie Chaffin of Hensley, WV and Inez Comfort of Orlando; his children, Fred Rickman III (Diane) of Mount Hope, Melissa Ward (Dennis) of Beckley, Stephanie Elkins and Kim Deering (Mike) of Wilmington, NC.; his grandchildren, Marshall Rickman of Beckley, Kelsey Rickman of Beckley, Finnley Rickman, Austin Duncan of Beckley and Lincoln Elkins; and his great grandchild Raelynn Duncan of Mount Hope.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel (1435 Main St E, Oak Hill, WV 25901).
In lieu of flowers, Fred's wishes were to have donations made to the WWHS Flying Eagle Marching Band in which his grandson Marshall Rickman is band director.
