It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Paul Barley (Mount Hope, West Virginia), who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Ernest J. Barley and Ethel F. Barley (Catlett); his brothers, Vernon, Robert and Ray; his uncle Mitch Barley (Celeste); his mother-in-law Barbara Canterbury; and his siblings-in-law, Mitzi Cimino, Connie Pearson, Janice Meredith, Karen Barley, Anna Barley, Bob Tyree, Bucky Meredith and Howard Pearson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Barley (Canterbury); his sons, Mitchell "Skee" Barley (Teresa), Robert "Bobby" Barley (Valeria) and Matthew Barley (Roberta); his grandchildren, Erica Smith, Sydnie Barley, Aaron Barley (Leslie), Ian Barley (Kelsey), Caleb Barley (Brittan) and Isaac Barley (Taylor); his great grandchild Maverick Barley; his sisters, Elizabeth Tyree and Ruth Lilly (Carlos); his siblings-in-law, Dixie Barley, Mary Barley, Donna Canterbury (George), Pat Canterbury (Jill) and Don Cimino; and his sister Shirley Fox (John). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.
