Basil Franklin Bennett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Basil Franklin Bennett (Mount Hope, West Virginia), born in Cunard, West Virginia, who passed away on April 14, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Bennett (Saunders); his grandparents, Basil, Dimie Bennett (Simmons), Franklin and Hattie Saunders (McDaniel); his father Paul Bennett; his sister June Travis; and his former wife Carolyn Bennett (Painter).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rebecca Bennett (Becky); his daughter Jacqueline Bennet; his grandsons, Jacson and Jarad Wolfe of Onenato, NY; and his siblings, Deanna Nicosia (Russell) of Bumpass, VA, Paul Bennett (Cathy) of Port St and Anna Bennett of Oak Hill, WV. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in honor of Basil's life in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Association.
