We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2021, at the age of 39, Michael R. Hughes of Mount Gay, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Earl Cook Sr. Michael; his stepfather Gene R. Trent; his uncles, Charlie Hughes and Jim "Sandman" Moore; his half-brother Andrew Cook; his aunts, Rose Vinson and Margie Moore; and his grandparents, Jesse, Shirley Hughes, Betty and Carl Ruggles.
He is survived by: his mother Donna Hughes; his children, Kirsten Shae Hughes, Preston Michael Hughes and Brantley McNeely; his half-brother Earl Cook Jr.; and his aunts and uncles, Roger Hughes (Yvonne), Danny Moore (Ruthie), Carl "Yowler" Ruggles, Casey Ruggles, Bonnie Farmer (Eugene), Sue Thompson (Kenny), Marlene Hughes and Diane Ruggles.
Due to Covid 19, Michael's services will be private.
