He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell William and Queen Elizabeth Westfall McCarty; and his wife Charlotte McCarty of Virginia. He is survived by: his children, Russell Alan of Mount Clare, Maxine McCarty of Mount Clare, Tammy Lynn of Mount Clare, Bradley Lee Greathouse of Mount Clare, Michael Adam of Mount Clare and Angel McCarty of Mount Clare; and his grandchildren, Jenna Lynn, Robin McCarty of Lakewood, WA, Justin, McKenna Jo McCarty, Amanda Lorraine, Matthew James of Louisa, VA, Zackery Michael and Adara McCarty. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives.
