In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy James leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Berwind and Virginia Blanche Taylor Lear; and his siblings, Dean Grant Lear and Cindy Jo Lear. He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Debbie" Ann McCann Lear; his children, Melissa Mann (Jacob) and Matthew Lear (Teresa); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Carter, Thomas, Mason and Annalise.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (124 Olen Thomas Dr, Clarksburg, WV 26301). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens (457 Zachs Run Rd, Mt Clare, WV 26408).
