Clifford left this world on November 7, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Clellie Cleo; and his siblings, Connie L. Hobbs, Donald L. Butcher and Larry K. Butcher. He is survived by: his mother Edna Mae Simmons Butcher; his wife Barbra Jo Griffith Butcher; his daughter Linda Marie Butcher (Robin Wilson) of Tampa, FL; the mother of his children Sue Beebe; his stepdaughters, Tammy Lynn Griffith, Debbi Ann Griffith, Jane Lew and Amy Jo Griffith; his sisters, Carolyn M. Romine, Patricia S. Blankenship and Mary E. Summerfield; his nieces and nephews, Joe Butcher (Ann), Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Lord Chesterfield III; and his pets, Suzanna, Sue and Rascal.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Mount Clare United Methodist Church (29 Chub Run Rd, Mt Clare, WV 26408). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
