He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper Richards and Margie Rodgers Richards; his daughter Mary Elizabeth Dunn; and his great grandchild Benjamin Paul Westfall. He is survived by: his wife Norita McCullough Richards; his children, Cathy Lynne Westfall (Bob), Teresa Renee Anderson (Bill), Tina Marie White (Jim) and Timothy Paul Richards; and his siblings, Melvin Richards and Sue Wass. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
