With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Harvey Wood of Moundsville, West Virginia, who passed away on January 23, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Joseph and Ella Edith Mae Wood (Conner); his wife Phyllis Wood (Rhodes); his fiancée Mary Jane McGilton; and his daughter Jamie McDowell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthy Wood, Terry Snyder (Jerry) and Brenda Wood-Whitecotton (Barry); and his close friend Connie Barries (Dave). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
