She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Berisford and Elsie Berisford (Francis); her husband Charles Shepherd; her children, Joseph, Eugene, Norick Holmes and Louetta Holmes; her siblings, Stanley Berisford, Geneva Lashare, Zelda Koval and Violet Pavilky; her grandson Brandon Holmes; and her great grandchild Nicole Nuce.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin Holmes of Wheeling, WV and Julie Toland (Clifford) of Cameron, WV; and her sister Freda Blake of Moundsville, WV.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
