She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold L. Porter and Sarah Bernadine Reilley Porter; her husband Carl Laverne Hunter; her brothers, James Francis Porter, Joseph Harold Porter, Robert Eugene Porter and Charles Leroy Porter; and her grandson Corey Mackenzie Hall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Bowman (William) of Wellsburg, WV, Christine Berisford of Moundsville, WV, Mona Hall (Dennis) of Moundsville, WV, Tina Padlow (Troy) of Glen Dale, WV and Carla Wilson of Wheeling, WV.; and her grandchildren, Lori Anderson, Robin Berisford (Rich), Russell Hall (Tawnya), Fred Berisford, Scott Berisford (Stephanie), Amy Tirpak (D. J.), Amber Conrad (Justin), Brittany Taylor (Chris) and Tori Gilbert (Donnie). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home - Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel (118 Grant Ave, Moundsville, WV 26041). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel (118 Grant Ave, Moundsville, WV 26041). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Riverview Cemetery - Moundsville (1854 Round Btm Hl Rd, Moundsville, WV 26041).
