He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Pickens and Lottie Cochran Pickens. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Pelley (John) of Moundsville, W. V, Kathy Mackey (Alan) of Waverly, W. V. and Gary Pickens (Trish) of Conover, N. C.; and his siblings, Ruth Ann Pickens of Parkersburg, W. V., Richard Pickens (Ellen) of Parkersburg, W. V and Cecil Pickens (Nancy). He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
