It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John A. Gayvont of Moundsville, West Virginia, born in Bridgeport, Ohio, who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gayvont and Francis Gayvont (Zann). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gayvont (Dilly); his children, Candace Ballard (Richard), Derek Gayvont and Brandi Dunn (Rob); his stepchildren, Amy McGarry (Jack), Bud Webb (Michelle) and Nicole Kalinowski (Bob); and his brother Tom Gayvont. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings will be required for a Public Memorial Visitation on Monday from 12 pm to 2 pm at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
