It is with great sadness that we announce the death of ZaQuan Christopher George of Morgantown, West Virginia, born in Fairmont, West Virginia, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 21, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Marcus Smith; and his great-grandparent Bernice Bridges. He is survived by: his significant other Maggie Erdie; his parents, Christopher George and Lynette Waites George; his stepmother Twnna George; his grandparents, Annie Waites Rollins of Fairmont, Rick and Beverly George of Coalton; his sisters, Zoe Barnett of Clarksburg and Hydia George of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.; his nephew Koa Starks of Clarksburg; his aunts and uncles, Kimberly Taylor of Moreno Valley, Lydia Bailey of Fairmont, Gregory Waites of Fairmont, Melvin Waites of Fairmont, Samuel Echols of Fairmont, Darnell Rollins of Morgantown, Alex Rollins of Morgantown, Akiba Dillard of Pittsburgh and Jason Miller (Erika) of Conway; his godparents, Linda and James Weeks of Fairmont; and his cousin Rahzell Muniz. He is also survived by great uncles, great aunts, cousins and friends.
