He was predeceased by: his parents, Audrey A. Boylen and Loretta Foutz Boylen; his former wife Helen Boylen; his siblings, Margaret Barker, Mary Jane Dodd, Junior Boylen, Jack Boylen, Robert Boylen, Gene Boylen and Dale Boylen; and his son-in-law Robert Linville.
He is survived by: his son William K. Boylen, Jr.; his wife Cathy of Fairview; his daughter Joyce Linville (Linda Gerard) of Fairmont; and his brother Carl Boylen of Arthurdale. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and eighteen great-great-grandchildren.
