With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Michael Kwapien of Morgantown, West Virginia, born in Westfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kwapien and Mary Louise Kwapien (Coccoluto). He is survived by: his children, James Kwapien and Rachel Kwapien; his siblings, Patricia Forry (Kwapien), Donald Kwapien and Laura Kwapien; his grandson Sawyer Kwapien; his children-in-law, Sara Jean Kwapien and Jay Estiva; and his nephews, Matthew Slentz and Caleb Kwapien.
This included donating skills as a master carpenter, even a stint at the well-known Brooklyn Bethel publishing facility.
