She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Carl Sterling and Agnes McVicker Sterling; her siblings, David Sterling (Edna), Carl Sterling (Sylvia) and Theo Deem (Paul); and her son-in-law Barry Bishop.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Maddox Bishop and Rodney Maddox (Marion); her grandchildren, Morgan Bishop Dawson (Kevin), Colby Bishop (Callie), Jeremy Maddox (Carrie), Justin Maddox (Erin) and Hailie Maddox Fisher (Marcus); her great grandchildren, Sebastian, Savannah Maddox and Kiley Maddox; her grandchildren, Abigail, Amelia, Everett Fisher and Olivia; and her nieces, Pamela Yagle (Karl), Karen Bevan (William) and Deborah Sterling (Tom Lindsay).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Mon Health Foundation in support of heart and vascular care, 1200 J.D. Anderson Drive, Morgantown, WV 26505.
