It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valerie Elizabeth White (Morgantown, West Virginia), who passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Hershman and Thelma Hershman; her grandmother Elizabeth Hess; her brothers, Harley Hershman and Richard Hershman; her uncle William White; and her aunts, Laura White and Geraldine Fuller.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Weiland and Erica McCord; her sister Carol Jean Peterson; her granddaughter Ashley Weiland; and her pets, Spunky, Precious and Tabitha. She is also survived by niece; numerous nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Valerie would have requested that donations be made to one of the following organizations that she regularly supported over the years: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or ASCPA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
