He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Clovis and June Steele Clovis; his wife Patricia Cowell Clovis; his sister Mary Jane Clovis; and his parents-in-law, Albert (Bo) and Mildred Cowell (Mickey).

He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Clovis (Wendy), Joshua Clovis (Chastity), Chelsa Hagedorn (Kevin) and Hillary Clovis (Kristin); his grandchildren, Adia Kolb (El), Gable Kolb (Kas), Khya Barker (Dustin), Cooper Clovis, Bo Clovis, Burke Clovis, Hudsyn Clovis, Briggs Clovis, Harmony Clovis, Canyon Clovis and Brooks Clovis; his brother Rodney A. Clovis (Willie); his nieces and nephews, Clint Clovis, Chris Clovis (Alberta) and Robin Wade (Chris); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Abigale Clovis, Jessica Salo and Zachary Clovis; and also, Naomi Jane and Miles Barker.
