He is survived by: his mother Gloria Leatrice Birch Friehling; his sister Jane (Gilbert Toll); his wife Linda Belgrade Friehling; his sons, Mati (Erika Posner), Jacob (Jennifer Cronk) and Benji (Hali Feldman); and his grandchildren, Layla, Elijah, Shaia, Jude, Jack and Jimi.
