He is survived by: his wife Connie Nicholson Gilmore; his children, Sheila Broadwater (James) of Morgantown, Kelly Brown (Mark) of Newburg and Derick Gilmore (Jamie) of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Nick (Blake), Colton Brown, Briana, Tabby Gilmore, Shelby Carpenter (Dusty) and Kelsey Duff (Tristan); his great grandchildren, Ethan McDonald, Hunter, Taylynn Brown, Harlynn, Vivian Duff and Connor Carpenter; his siblings, George Gilmore (Linda), Norma Stimmell and Martha Hart; and his in-laws, Bonnie Blosser (Gary) and Cindy Hanlin (Kenny).
