She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Messinger and Sarah Messinger (Potts); and her brother Howard Messinger. She is survived by: her husband Roger Smith; her children, Valerie Smith, Andrew (Mary Smith), Nathan (Michelle Smith) and Vivian Smith; her grandchildren, Jessica Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Tristan Graves, Ryan Smith, Ashton Smith, Abby Smith and Emma Smith; and her siblings, David, Judy Messinger, Ronnie Messinger, Marilyn and Jim Dunlap. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
