It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Leona Bailey of Morgantown, West Virginia, born in Tioga, West Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Brooks and Lucy Ellen Lewis Brooks; and her siblings, Retha Brooks McAvoy, Hertha Brooks, Denzil Franklin Brooks, Sterling J Brooks, Kenneth R. Brooks and Bernell Z. Brooks.
