He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Hanlin and Mildred Hanlin (Sugars); his daughter Brandy Devall; and his siblings, Glenna Miller, Nelda Hanlin, Alma Leaeitt, Billy Hanlin, Alvin Hanlin, Jr., Mikey Hanlin and Darrell "Butch" Hanlin.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Hanlin; his children, Melissa Hanlin Nicholson (Michael), Misty Hanlin Baily (Brandon), Lonnie Hanlin and Amanda Hanlin McCartney (Gage); his grandchildren, Billy Crowder, Megan Hanlin, Maranda Hanlin, Jacob Devall, Michael Watson, Shylar Hanlin, Caylie Hanlin and Savannah Baily; his great grandchildren, Devon Hanlin and Koen McCartney; his siblings, Bobby, Dale, Jimmy, Gary, Dorothy Minear, Nina Haskell and Nadara Spangler; and his son-in-law Ron Devall, Jr..
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Smith Funeral & Cremation Care (108 Holland Ave, Westover, WV 26501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
