He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Strakal and Alice Strakal. He is survived by: his brother Bryan Strakal; his niece Kathy Hickman Reh (Mike); his nephews, Chuck Taylor (Ashley), Thomas Taylor and Garrett Taylor; his great-nephews, Gabriel Reh, Kristopher Reh (Melody), Blake DeVan and Grayson Taylor; his stepmother Selma Strakal (Eileen); and also, Theodore Reh, Caroline Reh and Savannah Reh.
