She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard McDonald and Madeline McDonald; her husband Johnnie Howenstein; her son Steve Howenstein; and her siblings, Richard McDonald, Eugene McDonald, Holbert McDonald, Shirley, Sally Cobb, Sue Sites and Barbara Buseman.
She is survived by: her children, John Howenstein (Belinda) of Morgantown, WV and Tammy Howenstein of Morgantown, WV; her grandchildren, Chris (Sharah) of Martinsburg, WV, John Howenstein Jr. of Morgantown, WV, Ashley Morgan of Morgantown, WV, Brittany Howenstein Bettinger (Michael) of Fairmont, WV, Amber Morgan of Seattle, WA and Clarissa Howenstein (Gavin) of Morgantown; her great grandchildren, Kasey Mason of Morgantown, Mackenzie O'Neil, Malakai Palmer, Gage Abel, Lacey Maiden and Olivia Maiden; her boyfriend Ronnie Hernandez of Morgantown; her pets, Rocky and Lucky; and also, Cheryl Lane (Duane), Shena Harsh (Rick), John McDonald (Carol), Janet Powell (Paul) and Randy McDonald. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hastings Funeral Home (153 Spruce St, Morgantown, WV 26505). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
