With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irwin Golt of Morgantown, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Irwin's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Irwin has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Golt and Sarah Golt; his sister Dorothy Pomerantz; and his grandson Zachary Golt. He is survived by: his former wife Christine Kenny-Golt; his son David Golt (Carol); his grandson Joshua Golt (Hanna); and his great grandchildren, Alexander, Sidney and Rory.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Smith Funeral & Cremation Care (108 Holland Ave, Westover, WV 26501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
