He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Hoxter and W. Franklin Hoxter; his wife Elgy Washington; and his grandson Nick. He is survived by: his children, Carole (Rod Parker), Brian (Shirlette Hoxter) and Tracy Hoxter; his grandchildren, Brian II (Holly), Christian, Ryan, Miranda and Rebekah; and also Ralph B. Hale. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
