It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest R Rice (Morgantown, West Virginia), who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Rice and Dorothy Gregory Rice; and his siblings, Arthur, Calvin, John Rice, Virginia Wilfong, Edna Friend and Maxine Farrar.
He is survived by: his wife Loretha Murray Rice; his daughters, Shelby Wilburn (Mike) and Tammy Thomas (Roger); his grandchildren, Nick Wilburn (Jodi), Dustin Wilburn (Courtney), Ashley Summers and Travis Cramer; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Emma Wilburn, Parker and Easton Summers.
