He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Wentz and Lola Wentz (Ware); his parents-in-law, Jack and Joan Akers; his brother-in-law Gregg Palmer; and his nephew Benjamin Wentz.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Wentz (Akers); his siblings, Dave Wentz (Diane), Mark Wentz (Barb), Tim Wentz (RaEtta) and Susan Miller (Dustin); his sister-in-law Debbie Palmer; his nieces and nephews, Kristina Beringo, Lori Taylor (Bobby), David B. Wentz, Jamie Speight (Ryan), Andrew Wentz (Leiren), Joshua Miller, Jacob Wentz (Kayla Griffin), Luke Wentz and Geoff Jones (Halie); his great-nephews, Allen Bebout (Jennifer) and Luke Bebout; and his son Ian Nathanial Wentz. He is also survived by son, as well as several great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew.
