He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Alexander and Martha Peters Alexander; his daughter Theresa Alexander Schenzel; his sons-in-law, Tyler August Schenzel and Dean Culton; and his siblings, George Alexander, John Alexander, Mary Deaton, Helen Shearer, Marguerite Reiner and Emma Angotti.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Alexander (Liberatore); his children, Michael Alexander (Sue) of Morgantown, Patrick Alexander (Oceania) of Morgantown, Paulette Culton of Morgantown and Amy Bracy (Harry) of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Kristian Haines, Joshua Alexander (Stephanie), Christopher Alexander (Caitlyn), Samantha Salazar (Kevin), Amanda Freels (Brad Heather), Angelo Soliveras, Emily Lanphier (Paul), Annie Schenzel, Tyler Schenzel (Jaclyn), Turner Schenzel (Jade), Grant Culton, Garrett Culton, Bailey Colquitt and Sydney Colquitt; and his sisters, Delores Solomon and Patty Liberatore. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
