He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Dalton; his wife Dana Lee Dalton; and his brothers, Tyrone Dalton and Major Roy Dalton, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Slemp (Chris) of Hurricane; his brother Prentice Gene Dalton (W. Va) of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Travis Slemp (Shannon) of Morgantown, W. Va, Hank Slemp (Erin) of Broadway, N. C. and Savannah Slemp (W. Va) of Hurricane; and his great grandchildren, Danny Slemp, Nevaeh Slemp and Callaway Slemp.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
