He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Ramsey and Sylvia Marie Shreve Ramsey; his close friend Nana Ramsey; his son Travis Ramsey; and his siblings, Kathy R. Nutter and Dennis Ramsey (Sonny).

He is survived by: his sons, Tanner Ray Ramsey (Miranda) and Donald Ramsey II; his sister Nancy Y. Ramsey; and his grandchildren, Tanner Ramsey, II, Lexus Ramsey, Mercedes Ramsey and Aria Ramsey. He is also survived by Several Nieces and nephews.
