It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Ann Jefferys (Morgantown, West Virginia), who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Russell Garletts and Elettra Ann Garletts; her husband Roger Lee Jefferys I; her sons, Roger Jefferys II and Benjamin Jefferys; her daughter-in-law Rose Jefferys; her brothers, Edward and Keith Garletts; her niece Chasity Garletts (Aaron McCabe); her uncle Raymond Dafonzo (Judy); her aunts, Rose Davies (Jerry) and Betty Johnson; her sister-in-law Becky Garletts; her close friends, Karen Kapcsos, Charla Strakal, Dixie Bucklew, Mary Cathy Simmons and Vicki Blosser; her pet Koa; her son James Cody Jefferys; her brother Michael Garletts; her grandparents, Mable, Mike Dafonzo, Rose, Ernest Garletts and Charles Johnson; her friend Beverly Barton; and her pet Fern.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hastings Funeral Home (153 Spruce St, Morgantown, WV 26505). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
