He is survived by: his wife Betty J Phillips; his children, Jason Phillips (Tracy) of Morgantown, Joseph Phillips of Morgantown and Cassandra Phillips of Morgantown; his grandson Remmington Phillips; his brother Stephen Phillips (Elizabeth "Betsy"); and his nephews, Craig Phillips and Nathaniel Phillips.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hastings Funeral Home (153 Spruce St, Morgantown, WV 26505). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
