David Lee Allen Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth G. Allen and Virginia I. Yost Allen; and his parents-in-law, Rudy and Cecelia Scudiere. He is survived by: his significant other Cathy Scudiere Allen; his children, Wendy Habermehl (Klaus) of Gruenstadt, Pete Allen (Andrea) of Morgantown and Carrie Prusa (Dan) of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Bryan, Brittney Habermehl of Gruenstadt, Brady of Morgantown, Brionna Allen of Morgantown, Olivia of Morgantown, Norah of Morgantown, Eli of Morgantown, Sam of Morgantown and Hannah Prusa of Morgantown; his brothers, Ken Allen (Deborah) of Boerne and Larry Allen (Barbara) of Morgantown; his siblings-in-law, Bill Scudiere (Debra), Jimmy Scudiere (Tammy) and Lou Ann; and his caregivers, Mindi and David. He is also survived by numerous family members including cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.

Jennifer Tenney wrote a sympathy message

“We are saddened to hear of the death of Mr. Allen. He was the sweetest man with a big heart. I am so glad that we got to spend some time with him when we were in college, and of course to have him as our mail man when we were first married. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. God Bless.”
