She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Kevin Byrne and Helena Nickerson Byrne of Seaford, Virginia.; her husband James T. Armstrong; and her brother Sean Byrne. She is survived by: her children, Attorney Daniel K. Armstrong (Jerri) of Elkview and Dr. Caroline Armstrong (Mike Riley) of Petersburg, WV; her grandsons, James Armstrong and Calvin Riley; her stepgrandchildren, Lindsey and Wells Armstrong of Lawrenceville, Georgia.; her siblings, Thomas (Terri Byrne) and E. Ann Byrne of Newport News, Virginia.; and her stepson David Ian Armstrong (Christy).
