He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Vanscoy and Eleanor Bosley Vanscoy; his brother David Vanscoy; and his aunt Mary Catherine Scott. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Rae Smith (Mark) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Ted Vanscoy (Brenda) of Montrose, WV, Suann Gaydos (Mark) of Morgantown, WV and W. Wesley Vanscoy (Michelle Gilchrist) of Morgantown, WV; his brothers, Ed Vanscoy of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Julian Vanscoy (Jane) of Tallmadge, OH and Ivan Vanscoy (Kay) of Ravenna, OH; his grandchildren, Kristen, David Baker, Emilia Smith, Heath, Loryn Vanscoy, Alexis, William Gaydos, Ryan, Jordan Vanscoy, Drake, Austin and Drew Vanscoy; and his great grandchild Hendrix Vanscoy.
