Betty Jane Wearden Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Wearden (Morgantown, West Virginia), who passed away on February 6, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father William Hammack; her brother Thomas; her husband Stanley Wearden; and her son-in-law Ernest Young. She is survived by: her mother Josephine Hammack; her children, Stanley T (Deborah), Ann Young (late Ernest), James (Mary Ann), Jeffrey (Amy), Peter (Kelly) and Craig (Anne); and her friends, Roberta Gray, Andrea Wearden and Judith Wearden. She is also survived by six children, 25 grandchildren, and 14-and-counting great-grandchildren, twenty-five grandchildren plus two step-grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren plus four step-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
