She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Porter Carl and Marjorie E. Reid; her husband Sonny Penrod; and her siblings, Dick, Clyde, Porter Reid, Mary Fox and Rose Taylor.

She is survived by: her children, Gerald, Keith Penrod, Julie Penrod Gaines and Heidi Penrod Russack; her siblings, Bill, James Reid, June Michael, Ramona Richman and Charolette D'Andrea; and her grandchildren, Evan, Jared, Noah, Emily, Alex, Grady, Faith and Ryker.
