He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Shanholtzer and Lydia Irene Woods Shanholtzer of Moorefield, WV.; and his brother Chetwynd T. Shanholtzer. He is survived by: his wife Karen M. Shanholtzer; his daughters, Geneva Straub (Scott) and Holly McKenna (Kenneth) of Huntington; and his grandchildren, Zelda Lee, Artemis Irene, Otto Charles McKenna, Jacob and Trey Straub.
