It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne William Shockey Jr. of Moorefield, West Virginia, born in Petersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wayne William Shockey, Sr. and Violet Catherine Ratliff Piraino; his wife Mary Frances "Fran" Shockey; and his siblings, Joan Taylor of Burlington, WV, Judy Wilson of Romney, WV and Michael Piraino of Burlington, WV. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
