She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Harrison Kimble and Susan Gemina Shirk Kimble; her son Carl Wayne "Junior" Sherman; her son-in-law Mark Sheridan Flinn; and her sister Sally Ann Kimble.
She is survived by: her sister Vada Keplinger; her husband Carl Wayne Sherman, Sr.; her children, Penny Halterman (Rick), Lara Flinn Tanner (Todd) and Charles "Chuckie" Whetzel; her grandchildren, Alicia Riggleman (Robbie), Cassandra Harman, Kenneth Sherman, Brittany Rinker (Eugene), Dylan Flinn (Hunter), Sumer Miller (Jesse) and Trace Tanner; her great grandchildren, Kiersten, Tristen, Ashlen, Brycen, Riley, Maddie, Carlie, Aiden, Wren and Kayla; and her siblings, Charles "Jack" Kimble (Debbie), Joseph "Tom" Kimble, Audrey "Jean" Crites, Dottie Shirk (Harlen) and Sue Thorne (Buck).
