He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bensenhaver and Eula Bensenhaver (Halterman); and his siblings, Doug Bensenhaver, Elizabeth "Sis" Barr and Mary Hines.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Berg Bensenhaver (Carr); his daughters, Cindy Fansler (Brad) of Bruceton Mills, WV and Tina Sites (Jerry Urie) of Moorefield, WV; his siblings, Patsy Riggleman of Moorefield, WV, Nancy Brecher of Kyle, TX, Helen Rohrbaugh (Randy) of Maysville, WV, Dr. Dewey Bensenhaver (Jane) of Petersburg, WV, Donnie Bensenhaver of Petersburg and Charles Bensenhaver II of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Parker, Dakota, Hunter, Trad, Shawna and Makenzie; his niece Hazel Bensenhaver; and his nephew Bentley Cook. He is also survived by Great-Granddaughter on the way; numerous nieces and nephews.
