She was predeceased by: her parents, Emwood Leo Cosner and Mary Haines Cosner of Virginia; her husband Kenneth Edward Anderson; and her sister Shirley Whetzel. She is survived by: her sister Mary Ann Chaney; her children, Steven Anderson of Moorefield, WV and Melinda Turner (Eric) of Moorefield, WV; her grandchildren, Cody Turner, Kaylee Turner and Alayna Alexis Anderson; and her sisters, Maxine Sirk of Keyser, WV and Kathy Hearding of Annapolis, MD. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
