She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Randolph Whiteman and Ella Mae Myers Whiteman; and her brothers, Lawrence, Wallace, Marvin and Dwane.

She is survived by: her husband David Lee Howell, Sr.; her sons, David L. Howell, II (Stacey), Phillip M. Howell (Heather), Richard A. Howell, Sr. (Jeni) and Brian E. Jenkins (Kaylin) of Moorefield, WV; and her sisters, Sharon Whiteman and Patricia Shilling of Moorefield, WV. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fraley Funeral Chapel (107 Washington St, Moorefield, WV 26836). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel (107 Washington St, Moorefield, WV 26836).
